Helm describes itself as a package manager, which includes package searching and browsing, repository push and pull, and dependency management. The home for these Charts is the Kubernetes Charts repository which provides continuous integration for pull requests, as well as automated releases of Charts in the master branch. This means publishing a package involves many steps. Each user has it’s own unique key, and if you intend to upload the packages under a specific user profile, make sure you get the right key. This helps ensure that the package itself (and the source used to build the package) remains the one true source of package metadata.
